IE pages

Hello,

I am not sure if this is a video problem or not. Sometimes when I open a
web page in IE 6 the borders around the taskbar and the address bar and
other areas on the screen turn black. Does anyone know what causes this and
a solution for it? The video card temp runs at around a constant 68 ~ 69 C

Intel 3.2 GHZ Extreme Edition
1.0 GB of RAM
Intel 875 chipset motherboard
ATI 9800XT
Maxtor 160 GB SATA hard drive

Stop using IE.

Have you tried uninstalling IE6, does it do it in an earlier IE version i.e.
5, 5.5, and try reinstalling IE6.
 
I found out my problem. I had all my settings in the 3D tab maxed out,
setting them back to balanced under both OpenGL and Direct3D solved the
problem. Thanks for the input.

interesting thanks for the feedback so you had both direct3d and opengl on
optimal quality? i got a 9800 pro will have to see if it corrupts my IE.
