IE "page can not be displayed"

I'm not sure how to properly adress this, so I'll just
start. Recently I had a problem on my comp, which
required a format. After formating, some of my favorite
web pages give the error "page can not be displayed." But
before the format, they worked fine. No problem at all.
Ive tried d/l the newsest version, modifying certian
securtiy and advanced settings, but to no avail. The only
thing I propose, is it has something to do with my DSL
modem.

And im not sure if you know Speed Steam, but they have
serious issues with lets say "stuff"
