Several years ago when I used Earthlink as an ISP, their
software installed the phrase "Microsoft Internet
Explorer provided by Earthlink" in the banner of every IE
page displayed. I have long since changed ISP, upgraded
to IE 6.0 and downloaded and installed IE updates. Yet,
I still have the Earthlink phrase. Not a big deal, but
how can I get rid of it???

To remove all Internet Explorer branding, follow these steps:
1. Click Start.
2. Click Run.
3. Type or copy/paste.

rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear

and then click OK.

4. Restart Internet Explorer.
