I don't know the answer but have the same problem and
have been trying to find the solution for hours...days
even! I hope someone responds with an answer for both of
us.

Hi,
When you right-click the button on the taskbar, there are options for "size"
and "move" right? Experiment with Size first, using the arrow keys on the
keyboard. Then try the Move option with the arrow keys. Your window is
probably very small and off the screen or very, very small (1 pixel?) but
still on the screen. Once you can see it, drag it out to the desired size
and make it the last IE window you close.

Hope this helps,
Don

Just curious. Does your mimimized window have a label ?

I have been getting one similar to your but mine
has "Micorsoft Internet Explorer" as a label. Yes it is
incorrectly spelled.

I tried DVarnau's suggestion (thanks) concerning the arrow
keys and was able to see the mouse cursor move with an
essentially invisible window.

Now if I could only find out what causes it. :0)

I wonder if its a BHO and if so which one.

Just a short follow-up.

Spybot successfully eliminated my problem with the
mimimized window on the Taskbar.

Thanks for the suggestion DVarnau.
