Hi there

I am trying to recovers friends PC which was hammered by viruses.

Everything else seems to be ok now but I cannot figure out why IE triggers
itself open showing adds. This happens every 10 to 15 minutes.

If anybody has run into behaviour like this please advise.

Regards

Hi,
Antivirus programs are getting better at removing malware such as adware,
spyware, hijackers, etc. but you will need other tools such as Ad-aware,
Spybot and Hijack This.

Hi,
Some of the malware that's currently in circulation is difficult to detect
and remove. HijackThis and expert help are often required. You will get good
help at any of those forums.
