I'm running IE 6.1 on a Win2k SP4 machine. My problem is
that the IE only works probably, if it is started by a
user who is in the Administrator group. All other users
can launch the IE without an error or an event log, but
Web-Pages are not displayed. Instead they see a white box,
sometimes the dark gray application background.
The same thing happens with other software that uses the
IE an an COM-Server to display informations. For example
Outlook or the Windows Help. Instead of the e-mail, the
help site or whatever the software wants to display, the
user sees a gray, white or transperent window.
Probably, the file or COM access rights are incorrect. But
I have no idea which ones. Any suggestions?
Thank you, Matthias
