Having a problem browsing the internet. IE6 is displaying large fonts
and no formatting. Not really sure what might have caused this. I
have tried using the Accessibility options to ignore formatting but
that does not help at all.

I have not tried to reinstall IE6 because I would like to know what
caused this. But I will eventually if a solution can not be found.

Any suggestions would be appriciated.

Thanks,

HI :-)

You don't tell us the version of Windows you are using, which really is a
must when asking for help in the newsgroups, but, try the following and see
if it helps:

Control Panel> Accessibility Options> Display. Make sure that High Contrast
is not checked.

also..

To change the font text size go to IE>View>Text Size>and select the size you
want from the list.

or...

If you have a wheel on your mouse, hold down the Ctrl key and move the
wheel. This may get your fonts back to the size you want.

For the images problem:

1. If you have McAfee, turn off McAffee's Privacy.
2. Uninstall any web accelerator as it will disable image loading to speed
up the internet.
3. If you have any 3rd party toolbars such as Google, MSN or Yahoo, disable
them. If you have Yahoo Companion, uninstall it. If you have any 3rd party
software, firewall, popup or ad blockers, disable them. Zone Alarm and
Kerio are know to block images.
4. Clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content when that dialog pops up) It's often
recommended that the TIF folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)
5. Try these two commands from Start> Run> cmd [enter]
regsvr32 vbscript.dll [enter]
regsvr32 jscript.dll [enter]
Hope this helps.
6. Reinstall the scripting engine. Go to
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp
for the appropriate download of Windows Script 5.6
7. Re-registering the DLLs listed in this article may help:
