Two weeks ago I deleted Netscape 7 and downloaded Netscape 9 to my Windows
XP. Since then, both IE7 & OE6 give me the message, "You are offline; The web
page is unavailable." But that happens when I had connected to the internet
via Earthlink, and Mozilla was working fine on the internet.
Yesterday I had a cable modem installed, so I am now online all the time,
but I still get that message. I'm able to use OE by clicking on "Try again,"
but the problem is a real pain. Clicking on a hyperlink within e-mail does
not work either.
Any ideas about how to solve this? Neither the Earthlink nor the
Time-Warner Cable tech support folks had any ideas. I'd sure appreciate some
help!
