IE not working.

Hi All,
My IE is not working! Whenever I click on anylink or try to open IE I
get the following error box
"The procedure entry point InternetGetSecurityInfoByURLW could not be
located in the dynamic link library WININET.Dll"

I am using IE7.0 Beta2 and WinXP with SP2. I had to repair my XP today as
the OS was not at all booting and once I repaired it I am getting this error!

I tried to remove IE7.0 using all the methods which have been posted on the
user groups but was not able to.

It would be of great help if any one can help me in this regards.

I see in http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx that
the recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
