IE not responding

I've been struggling with this problem for several weeks now and cannot find
the fix. This is the error message from the Microsoft error reporting
system.

szAppName : iexplore.exe szAppVer : 6.0.2800.1106 szModName : hungapp
szModVer : 0.0.0.0 offset : 00000000

The symptoms are... Some web pages will open normally but some will begin to
load then just stop. I have to close the program at that point which pops up
with the window that says the program is not responding. This happens on
whatever dialup or high speed wireless connection I use.

I've tried deleting all cookies and temp internet files, running 3 different
spy/add ware deletion programs, rolling back the version of IE 6 to a
previous version, changing the security settings, deleting and reinstalling
IE per Microsoft's web site instructions, deleting all temp files, and more.
I've tried every suggested fix I can find with Google searches on the web
and newsgroups. I've even done a reformat of the computer hard drive.

This is a Toshiba 1805-203 laptop BTW, about 2 years old with 256 megs and
an 800 MHz processor.

Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Q
