IE not responding at all

my internet explorer has craped out for some reason and i
can't figure out why.....
not matter what site i try to go to i get page can't be
displayed....
I reinstalled the program over and the same thing happens
I'm on a cable modem and can access my e-mail with no
problem could someone out there help this poor sole

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
