IE not loading pages/long load time

I've got a strange problem with IE that has cropped only recently.
Whenever I open a new browser, and type an address in/click a bookmark,
it initially behaves correctly, and goes to the page. Then after
clicking a few links, it starts to freeze up, no loading any of the
pages I click. These are working servers. I try to press on a bookmark,
and this doesn't load either, or clicking on the google homepage button
in the google toolbar. It's almost as if IE is throttling itself
somehow.

I thought the problem was from installing SP2, so I uninstalled that,
but with no joy. I'm behind an MS proxy (ISA) server, but I'm having
absolutely no problems with Mozilla Firefox, which I'm forced to use
(an okay browser, but not as fast and lots of websites don't display
properly in it - obviously badly marked up!)

Thanks

I've had a similar problem a few months ago. I found if I uninstalled
the Google Toolbar, the problem went away. I'm not sure what version
of the toolbar I was using. It was the one available earlier this
year.

Phil
