IE not linking correctly to PDF files

If I doubleclick a PDF in My Computer or in an email
attachment, AcrobatReader 6.0 opens just fine.

But if I follow a link on a site to a PDF or type the URL
for the PDF directly, I get this error in a pop-up:

Could not find Acrobat External Window Handler

and I never get the PDF.

The only thing I can think of that I changed recently was
when I clicked on a PDF attachment, I used OPEN WITH and
changed my default from Reader 5.0 to Reader 6.0.

Any ideas?

If you reinstall it, it should fix the associations.
