My Internet Explorer has been acting a little buggy
recently so I went to Add/Remove Programs to
remove/repair it and it is no longer listed there. It is
in C:Program Files and also a folder in Windows but I do
not get the option of repairing it there. Is there an
alternate way to have it repair itself?

Thx.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm running XP Home. I was not able to find anything to
repair IE6 in Msinfo32. I did a search for the tool but
got no results. I checked MS knowledge for info, they
suggest reinstalling XP or going to regedit and
reinstalling IE6 which I am trying to avoid. Wondering
why it disappeared from Add/remove folder and would
prefer to just use the repair tool if I can find it....
Thx again.

When I've used Scanreg /restore with W98se, I've had listed programs
"disappear" from Add/Remove as well. PITA. But that's neither here nor
there. :-) If you've updated, or used system restore (???) maybe it
disappeared due to that (??). Obviously, I don't know.

Hi

I just went through that. No longer in Add/Remove once you
use it. You can find it System Information. Begin with
"Start", then Programs, Accessories, System Tools, then
click on System Information. The display will open up.
Click on "Tools". The first item listed is IE Repair Tool.
