whenever i try to use ie i now get a message that says The
page cannot be displayed". With the help of the verizon dsl
people, i was able to download and install netscape. We did
a lot of ip address testing here thru "command prompt".
some other things i've tried include sfc/scannow, instaling
spybot,adaware, and cwshredder. i have also unchecked
"enable third party browsers", and set the home page to
:about blank". when i tried to download a version of ie6 i
get a warning that i have "a newer version already on my
computer". What else can i do before i try to edit the
registry. i don't know if i comfortable going there. thanks
