IE Locks up after selecting a pdf link

We have a workstation that IE locks up after selecting a pdf link. The only
option is to do the "three finger salute" and cancel the process. Does
anyone have any ideas/solution for this? Any help will be appreciated......

Windows XP, IE 6.0, and Adobe Reader 6.0

Also, with Windows XP, you might want to try Adobe Reader 7.
