So often I am trying to click a link on a page but it doesn't work. I either
get done or error in the bottom left corner. I've even gone as far as
disabling the pop-up blocker but to no avail. HELP

Hi Mom,
Clean your caches and delete offline files/content from your IE properties,
to do that try this:
Right Click your IE and select Properties from the drop down sub menu, and
On General Tab clear the caches and cookies and offline content.
Click Settings on the same window and there set the size between 50-80MB by
draging the Selector under Amount of Disk Space to use.
Click OK to confirm and again on the IE window and close.
Open the RUN command and type in: regsvr32 urlmon.dll and Press OK.
Reboot and try the same website and reproduce the issue and see if it cured.
Hope this helps

P.S be sure your system is clean from Malwares/Viruses.

My MB were at 1193 - why decrease it so much? I also could not find the
regsvr32...dll file. I still get "error on page" msg. Thanks for trying.
Any more suggestions?

2nd reply - after an extra try I was successful in completing the
registration of urlmon.dll, but it did not help.

Hi Mom,
First sorry for the delay it late here in my part of the world.
To answer your Q about why do you want to decrease the Size! in simple Ex,
is emagine you have two Handbags ( 1 samll and the other Big) you have little
to carry while you are out which one you will take? and why?, I will take the
samll one, because size and easy to get things out quicker and easy to carry.
The same with IE Amount disk Size, IE take longer to to look/check History
and the TTL(Time To Live) for Cookies may short then you will have the error
Msg.

1-To Solve your Problem do you have other Toolbar installed other than IE6,
or do you have IE7?
As I mentioned before try to Clear your Caches and set the Size between
50-80 MB and on the Programs Tab click on the *Reset Web Settings* Button.
Try to register these DLLs in the same manner as the urlmon.dll
regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Browseui.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Initpki.dll
regsvr32 Msjava.dll
Do one at atime and click OK and Reboot your machine.

2-Open the RUN Command and type this:
Iexplore /rereg Click OK and wait for it to finish.

3- If no joy try the instructions in this links to set the value in the
registry becareful in editing the Registry :

Hope this helps
Please write back with your Findings
