A couple of weeks ago my computer froze. After rebooting,
all the 'links' no longer link to the appropriate
website. (NOTE: in "properties" the shortcut is correct
and properly placed.) This also holds true for
the 'Favorites' links. Please help... Tom

1. Click [Start] [Run] type:
(Press Enter after each command)
Regsvr32 /i URLMON.DLL
Regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
Regsvr32 shdocvw.dll

2. Restart Windows
3. Open IE [Tools] [nternet Options] [Programs] [Reset Web Settings]

If this does not help, run this fix: Based on MSKB article:
http://mvps.org/sramesh2k/utils/IEFix.exe

Manual procedure: (Microsoft Knowledge article link)
