I have windows XP, erlier this week I noticed Internet
Explorer keeps poping up (mostly 1/2 opened) and then
hangs. It will do this mutiple times (3 to 58). I try to
use task manager to shut it down but can't keep ahead of
it poping up.

I have the same problem, ie keeps popping up from 10-60
times in a second, and of course the pages cant load even
at the broadband speed. CPU also just kinda dies and the
windows XP bar with a START button on it goes away. big
mess.
Anyone knows how to fix this?

PS. When deleting IE from the folder the files are just
reappearing...

my computer started doing this same exact thing tonight.
i am unable to shut down my computer except manually.
HELP!

First eliminate any scumware.
See
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

trying to figure out how to remove it. i have spybot-
and it finds nothing related to this. we have removed it
in safe mode, but then it has returned. any suggestions
would be appreciated.
