IE Keeps logging me out

I first noticed it when I couldn't access my emails at Hotmail. I'd acceess
the page through Messenger (with the little email link) or I'd just type in
hotmail in the address bar and if I wasn't already automatically logged-in
I'd log-in and everything would load fine and I'd see all my emails just like
anybody who has Hotmail. Then I click on an email to open it up and it goes
to the sign in page. Not the familiar cookied sign-in page either but the one
that also says "Not a Hotmail user yet?" . OK. So I sign in again and soon
realize that this is an endless cycle.

Then I see that it's actually happening to every website I'm visiting that
requires a log-in. No matter where I go, I can only stay logged in long
enough to reach a link that requires a log-in.

Opera is working fine.

So, I'm pretty sure that it's not a security issue, at least not an issue
generated by IE's security settings and I'm pretty sure it's not malicious. I
also downloaded all the updates I could find at Microsoft and I've searched a
good long hour on the internet and I haven't found anything relating to this
issue. I just don't know where to go from here. Can anybody help?

Or... Your History folder may be damaged.

Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder in Windows 9x,2K, XP and a new one will be created when you
restart.

Or the History folder can be deleted manually:
See: How To Delete the Internet Explorer Temporary Internet Files:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

You might need to delete the damaged History folder- a new one will be
created on restart.
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

If these steps do not resolve your problem, or you need help with the above,
please post back to this thread with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps
