IE keeps getting redirected on the home page

For some reason IE keeps redirecting a number of pages to this crap called
PRIVACY OUTPOST. I am sure the site is illegal. Below is the message I
get, can anyone tell me how to eliminate this?

Sounds like "browser hijacking". There are two excellent, free tools
available for download which will stop this stuff.

For the general hijack case, the best way to start is to get Ad-Aware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com. Update and run this regularly to get rid of
most "spyware/hijackware" on your machine.

Another excellent program for this purpose is SpyBot Search and Destroy
available here: http://security.kolla.de/ I recommend using both.
