IE issues New User

Whilst browsing on the Internet i get this message:

Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.

When I click 'here' for more information i get this:

Faulting application iexplore.exe
Faulting module unknown
and various faulting addresses i assume this is the web site i was on at the
time

i was able tosurf comfortably about 2 weeks ago but now im on for 5 mins and
i get booted off.

please help

First make sure that no plug-ins (download managers, third-party popup
blockers, etc.) are running, then try to reproduce the problem. If it
does not appear, find the plug-in that causes the problem and
uninstall it.
If this does not help, repair the IE: "How to Reinstall or Repair
Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in Windows XP"
