IE is not my default browser

Hello all,
I unchecked the 'Check to see if Firefox is my default' and rebooted but
it didn't help. I made sure that IE had the check to check if IE is my
default .

I'm running IE 6. I tried IE 7 a couple of times, but it didn't work out
that well for me.

Try this: Click Start >> Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs >> Click Set
Access and Default programs and see if the check box for the IE as default
browser is selected if not select it.
Do it again on the IE properties, Fox have a habit of being smart browser to
set itself as the default on Bootup.

The Fox not suspect, the fox trying to do it's Job as IE (which given you th
freedom to change , settings, browser,security), Glad to hear you done and
