IE is mad, it closes some web pages

Hello there,
I suppose if we didn't exist microsoft wouldn't exist
either so where's the support, FREE?
So... what happened is that I installed windows xp and
then I placed a cd. It tried to open the htlm page but
microsoft script appeared (boring...).
After that I was never able to open some pages, like
www.sam-cam-com. It simply opens the page and
zipzapzum... it closes it like magic.
I'm really frustrated. What can I do?
Anyone?

This is an all too common problem with XP. Thus far, there does not seem to
be any one-fix-for-all that we can offer. Therefore, you might try the
following and see if it helps:

Uninstall the firewall in your AV if it has one.

You might also try installing the Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP
if you have not already done so. The install includes a new jscript.dl

Uninstall Javascript from "Add Remove Programs" in control panel,
then download it from www.java.com and reinstall it.

Go to the Windows Update Site (Start/All Programs/Windows Update/Personalize
Windows Update/Enable the Windows Update Catalog. Save Settings. Select
Windows Update Catalog from the left hand pane/Select Find updates for
Microsoft Windows systems from the right hand pane/Select Windows XP/Search.
Select Critical Updates and Service Packs.
Select the March 4th Security Update as it contains Windows XP VM.
