IE internet tools options dialog

when I try to access internet tools options I get a msg
saying that "operation cancelled due to restrictions put
on computer"...this is a stand alone XP computer and
worked fine until yesterday..can anyone help

If you have Spybot S&D installed, open it in Advanced mode and check the
Immunize settings. You may have inadvertently set this restriction.

If you didn't set this, you should scan for the malware which may have
placed this restriction.
