I would like to use a XP-PC with Internet Explorer 6 in Kiosk mode for public
access.
(as described in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=154780)

Now I am not satisfied with the keyboard shortcuts...I don't want to use the
CTRL+Key but I want to use the function keys. I would only need functions
keys for: Start page, back, forward, refresh and stop.

Is there any way to redirect the CTRL+"Key" to some function keys?

Hi Ulrich,

Use a Browser Helper to sink into the keyboard events and redirect them to
the Ctrl equvalents. The BHO can also ensure that the browser will only open
in Kiosk mode although there are group policy settings for this also.

Regards.
