IE ignores color for a XP user id

I have an XP machine with 3 user ids. For 2 user ids, IE renders HTML
faithfully. For the 3rd id, it ignores the colors and fonts in the
HTML. I already made sure the Accessability Options are not checked.
I restored the IE settings for the Security and Advanced tabs for all
3 users back to the default values. I poked around in the registry at
hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\internet explorer\settings and
deleted the keys for the accessability options. What else can I do to
make IE stop ignoring the colors and fonts?

A month later I finally found the answer. I went to Start > Settings
Control Panel > Accessability Options > Display and unchecked the
High Contrast check box. This reset all my windows colors, themes,
wallpaper, start menu customization, etc. I have no explanation why
High Contrast would reset everything, but lo and behold, when
everything was fixed, IE was rendering pages correctly.
