ie icon to taskbar

How can I get icons for IE, Outlook, etc to appear in the task bar area
for XP Pro, so I can start them with a single click...seems like with
XP Home, I could just drag stuff there. With Pro, I can't do
it....thanks

Display The Quick Launch Toolbar
If the Quick Launch Toolbar is missing from the taskbar:
Right-click an empty area on the taskbar, click Toolbars, and then click
Quick Launch.
Add items to the Quick Launch toolbar by clicking the icon for the program
you want to add, and dragging it to the Quick Launch portion of the taskbar.
