IE Home page settings

My Home Page settings, under IE tools, options, General
tab are now grayed out and can't be used. Why, and how do
I correct this?

Do an internet search on this, there may be several reasons. I used the
string "home page grayed out" in google.
One I found, are you running Spybot? I dont use it but apparently one of its
options can prevent you changing your home page options.
