I am missing the 'General' and 'Programs' tabs in my internet explorer settings window. I am guessing i have picked up some Spyware which has done this since my homepage is stuck on get-find.com
I have re-installed IE6 SP1 several times and even performed an over the top re-installation of Windows 98
I have also cleaned my pc with Spybot and Adaware, none of which have helped
I cannot un-install IE6 to try putting IE5.5 on nor does IE5.5 install because "There is a newer component already installed"
Can anywone offer any advice
Thanks

You may need to perform a registry edit.

Did you update the definitions for Ad-Aware and Spybot S & D before scanning
with them?
