IE has to close

Sirs: Why does Internet Explorer, after ten minutes
come up with a message, "Internet Explprer has a
problem, and needs to close....."
This is very annoying, so I called my ISP and he fiddled
with some connections, it worked for a while, but the
message persists, and is back again? what's the story?
