"IE has encountered a problem"

Only recently after "cleaning up" by hard drive I am
constantaly experiencing a problem when on the internet.
"Microsoft IE has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the..." I've reloaded IE, don't
know what else to do. Any ideas?

IE will experience problems if there is something wrong with your Windows
system that may not even relate directly to IE and surfing. Sometimes you
can drag the small error window out of the way and keep on surfing for
hours.

This is probably being caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)
