hi everyone,
I have IE 6.0 and WIN 98. Whenever I am using IE, and I refresh my page
often within a short amount of time (i.e. when I am watching an auction and
need to update the page often at the end of the auction) I get an error
message that reads "IE has encontered a problem and needs to close" and then
it asks me if I would like to send an error report. I did this, and it took
me to a Microsoft page that told me there were some critical updates I
needed. I downloaded the critical updates, cleaned up my computer, did a
disk defrag, even did an IE repair-none of this worked because I just did
the frequent refresh thing and still got the error message again. Can anyone
help me? I really need this fixed soon as I have an auction I want to bid on
today and will be refreshing my page alot and I do not need IE to crash
again!
thanks,
Jane
