IE hangs when using File : Open

IE6 on XP pro

When I click of file and the open and type in the location it just hangs.

Another problem maybe they are related somehow - windows explorer: cant move
a folder. Displays the first level. Then when I click on a + to expand the
directory listing it hangs

I have exactly the same problem. What worked for me is to type the full
address, such as http://www.nfl.com

Having same problem. Microsoft's fixes haven't worked. Mine just started
yesterday after some MS updates--coincidental? Am temporarily circumventing
problem by Googling the files.
