Ok, since about a week ago, my copy of IE has, ah, not been
working.
What happens is it will load the program fine, but it
simply doesn't connect to ANY websites, unless I've got
them stored on my C: Drive.
It says "Connecting to Site" down the bottom, loads about 2
of the little green bars (Still saying connecting to site,)
And then comes up with a "Page Cannot be Displayed" Error.
I've tried Clearing my Cache an Cookies. No Go. Tried
Changing my Cyper Strength, but it stays on 128 Bit (Not
Sure if I'm doing this right. I go Run and put 'sfc /scannow')
Tried Uninstalling - Reinstalling my Connection. Still no
Go-er. Can't seem to find the Uninstall files for IE.
(Don't tell me there in the Internet Explorer folder, cause
the ones in there dun work. Nor does it show on Add/Remove
programs thing in Ctrl Panel.)
On the Account of the other person that uses this computer,
it works fine. (Much to my Annoyance.)
I can't think of any software that'd be interfeering with
it, and I've just cleaned out my C: Drive, so it's probably
not 3rd party software anyway.
I know it's not my connection, cause every other Program
that isn't IE related. (Messenger, AoE, Netscape) Works.
So, Umm, HELP!!!
