IE goes into endless loop opening an XML file

One of the folks I work with has aproblem where IE6 goes into an
endless loop trying to load an XML file. I have seen a few other
refrences about this problem in the news groups, but no solutiions.

Has anyone seen this problem? Any suggestions?

Yes but that was long ago with a much earlier version of the XML parser.
What version of the parser does he have?

FWIW when somebody did that recently with me his results seemed
to show that he didn't have msxml3.dll present. In fact, apparently
he did and all that he had to do to make it work properly again was
re-register it.
