IE generating large fonts

Windows XP, IE 6.0.... A few days ago, some pages (e.g. yahoo.com) started
loading with most of the text in a goofy large font. But other pages load
normally. Seems to depend on the font itself, e.g. Times New Roman looks
fine. No problems with links, just font size.

I run the freeware version of X-Cleaner on startup, so the caches are
supposed to be cleared, right? How can I get this back to normal?

Thanks in advance.

Anyone?
