HELP!!!!!!! Damsal in distress here--and haven't been able to find any help.

My IE is freezing up, spontaneously closing, won't allow me to have more
than one window at a time open. If I'm on a message board I frequent--I
can't open the emoticon window and add any more freezes up. Issues just
started over weekend.

I have recently purchased Spyware Doctor, and it has real time on guard
protection from harmful sties, cookies, etc. Could this be the problem?

Have tried to find, figure out, etc. How to uninstall IE 6 and reinstall it
to see if that would correct the problems....let's just say I'm still
clueless.

Windows and IE have SP2 and all critical updates, so what now?

HELP! Please and Thank you!

HI,
Disabling Spyware Doctor's realtime protection would be a good start to
troubleshooting this. Also disable any other toolbars or programs which
might be blocking pop-ups. If the Yahoo toolbar is listed in add/remove
programs, uninstall it (as a test.) It's troublesome on some systems.

Thank you for your responsee. I do appreciate it. Unfortunately it's still

to do! I do remember seeing something about DLL...something or another, but
am clueless as to what to do.

I'm a girl for goodness sake---I need it plain, I need it simple, and I need
it step by step. Someone PLEASE help!

is about as plain and clear as most of us can do. If you can't work through
those steps you had best contact a professional computer repair shop, and
that does not mean the one at Big Chain Store.
