IE freezes

IE has been freezing recently as I tab out of text inputs in HTML forms.
Its temporary, about a minute or two; when it returns it functions fine,
including tabbing in and out again (until the next post). Other open
browser windows continue to operate fine and there seems to be no network
activity (judging from DSL modem lights). It only seems to affect text
inputs, not combos or buttons. I upgraded from IE5 to IE6SP1 with no change
in the problem.

Any ideas?

TIA,
Jim

Some combination of the steps listed at the KB article below did it.
Goodbye to a really serious annoyance.

Many thanks!
