IE keeps freezing when typing a web address atleast 1 out of 3 times. I have
tried running anti spyware, anti virus, deleting temp internet files,
installing windows updates and managing add-ons. These solutions are
suggested my microsoft when I click on the link after submitting the errort
report. But this doesnt seem to work. The problem still persists. Please
help. Thank you

I think I have cured the problem. I didn't want to do it, but I uninstalled
and reinstalled my antivirus program. (Norton Internet Security) It doesn't
freeze up any more. Good luck!

Victor, if it came with your PC, you probably have it in your box of stuff
that belongs to the PC. If not, you can download it off the web. All you
need is your activation key, and Norton is real nice about giving it to you.
They will look at your subscription and if it is still in effect, they will
just e-mail it to you. I had to do that... I was very afraid to take it
off, but it didn't take long, and it solved all the problems I was having.
It is in the list of stuff Microsoft suggested to do in order to fix the
problem.

Here's a tip about downloading programs: Make a folder inside of My
Documents, and name it My Downloads. Make a folder inside of that one and
name it NortonInternetSecurity. Download it into that folder, and when you
get the activation key, copy it to Notepad and save it in the same folder.
Then if you have to re-install it, you just look in My Downloads, and
everything is there.
Good Luck!
