IE freezes when LINKS are clicked

When I click on a LINK in a browser window that opens in a NEW window my
original browser window >where the link was located< FREEZES and then falls
into NOT RESPONDING status. Please note: the NEW browser window functions
fine, if I open a 3rd - 4th (etc) browser window they ALL function FINE, just
the browser window that had that LINK on it FREEZED.

For instance (just in case :-} to post this message I have to click on the
NEW / QUESTION link to bring up a NEW BROWSER - well I type my message in
that window and when I go back to the forum - that window is FROZEN / NOT
RESPONDING. Have to do the End Task thing...Its horrible.
 
Shannon - The same thing has just recently started happening to me too!!
It's weird! I can't offer you a solution but I thought knowing that you
weren't the only one experiencing this would make you feel better. =)

This problem is very annoying!
 
I have the same problem, but if I do refresh then it comes right up. Hope
someone can advise.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function

Hello Frank,

Thank you for your suggetions, I have ran S&D and Cwshredder, I have not
been able to run AdAware to completion, it hangs at this section:

Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersionshared\SharedDLLs...
I have tried EVERY possible combo to run AdAware and get it to finish.

My log if you would like to view it on SWI forums under "Shannon_323".

Any other suggestions ? Anything - Anybody ?
