Hi,
Within the past couple of days my IE has been freezing or
can be slow sometimes. I have a cable modem and IE is
usually very fast, but sometimes all of the sudden it
will freeze or take up to a min. or longer for the next
page to come up. I'll try to close the window and
another window comes up saying something like "would you
like to end the program now" (can't remember exactly) and
i'll click "end now" and then another window comes up and
says would you like to send an error report and i've sent
it and sometimes I don't. It hasn't made a difference.

I use norton anti-virus and have checked for latest
viruses and everything is up to date. I use XP home.

Any clues?
Thanks

I'm not sure I can be too helpful, but I'd be interested
if you hear anything. I'm wondering if there's a problem
with the security patch for Blaster worm virus. I
recently applied it and have Norton, though it's v.2002.
I am having trouble with some pages that won't load or
load slowly (even common ones such as coscto.com,
target.com) ever since I (a) updated to IE6 SP1/applied
patch and (b) got a cable internet connection - both
happened at the same time. I can get to all these pages
(including techbargains.com) via my old dial-up
connection. The Cable company swears it has nothing to do
with them. I also run XP home. Does this sound similar to
what happens for you?
