IE Favorite icons

My icons in my favorites has changed, They use to show
special icons for special ones and now the all just show
the ie icone. Is there a download to rest them to the way
they were. Many thanks

Delete all the cookies as well as teporary internet files.Restart your
machine.

If a Web site has a customized icon (stored there as favicon.ico), it is
downloaded to your Temporary Internet Files automatically When you clear
the TIF files (as you should regularly), these icons are deleted and the
favorites revert to the default IE icon. Ssg's advice re. clearing TIF
would actually delete current associated favorite icons, not restore them.
The FavOrg utility (from PC Mag) works around this design limitation by
storing the favicons associated icons elsewhere and maintaining the
association.
