Hi...I`m having a problem with IE failing to close properly when I shut it
down...I have to then go to task manager and close it that way...and I can
see that IE is still active and using up most of the CPU...so I often need to
close it this way though not always...anyone have any ideas as to how I can
rectify this or what`s going on...?
I run anti virus each day and ad aware etc so there are no obvious virus` etc.
Thanks....Novvo

I believe it was Sandi who published the article about it not always being
malware but I'll include the malware link in this...

Malware Cleaning:

After that look for poorly coded plug-ins.

BHODemon 2.0:
http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm

BHODemon isn't being worked on any more but will do the job easily and save
you from having to poke around within IE to test.

Your symptoms suggest either malware or a poorly coded BHO (plug-in) that is
causing the issues.

Thanks very much Galen...I`ve done as suggested so time will tell as to
whether this has resolved the issue...I hope so...

Thanks.
