After deleting some old games on a computer running 98
(older machine), I got a message wininet.dll error
message. After rebooting, I clicked on IE and my dial-up
popup box did not appear. When I went to Communications
and dialed from there - it made the connection - but when
I clicked on IE, the screen stayed blank. It will not
read any websites.
What do I do to fix this problem? Do I try to get a copy
of this file and stick it in the windows\system or if I
click on Start/Control Panel/Install-uninstall and click
on IE 6.0 - will it give me an option to REPAIR the file?
Is wininet.dll PART OF IE 6.0?? How do I get my
connection back!!!!! HELP
