Hi,

When I started IE from start menu, the browser window was not
displayed in it's full size (cover whole screen) but only about 9/10
of it's full size. How can I change the settings such that next time I
start IE, I don't need to explicitly resize it after I clicked start
it ?

Thanks!

Try opening one window only, maximising and then closing it. Next time
you open a new window it 'should' be maximised.
If you have a problem with "open in new window" being too small, place
the cursor to one side edge of the window, this should enable you to
drag an edge at a time out, until you have the size you want. Close
all other explorer windows making sure the one you resized is the one
you close last.
I think I have that right....

Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window last.
