ie exp very slow and crashes

IE Exp6 has become very slow with a lot of crashes. Running with XP-pro
OS. Script errors also quite common -- have tried reloading script
engine, no help. Suggestions?
 
Check for virus and adware

If no joy, check if ad-blocker or firewall is slowing IE. Perform an IE
repair

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
