Hi,
I found this problem in 3 Windows XP SP2 workstations and in a Windows 2003
SP1 under terminal server client. The IE 6.0 SP2 (Windows XP) just closes all
windows and popup a message telling the iexplorer.exe executed a elegal
operation in the module netdll.dll version 5.1.2900.2180. I am about to
reinstall a Windows XP workstation, but I can´t reinstall a Windows 2003
server with 50 users using a lot of data.

Please, help me!!

Hi there - we have the same problem - started a short time ago, maybe 2-3
weeks, now up to 3 or 4 times a day. My wife is getting very annoyed! The
IE6 exit box does NOT have the option to send an error report to MS.

Could this be associated with the November 9th security updates? It
certainly wasn't happening before that came through.

Or is this a sign of another virus/worm/trojan that wasn't stopped by a
router, a software firewall and up-to-date AV program?

Any ideas out there?

I have same problem ,I am wondering if it is added software
such as ewido or spydoctor that can cause it.
I did not have the problem with the previous version of ntdll.dll.

I have the same problem...sometimes it says an error with ntdll.dll or
sometimes its shwlapi.dll but it happens on 50% of the IE pages I go to.
I've done all the updates and tried everything. Is it malware or a
virus????????????????????

Thanks! I actually found another thread further down the line that someone
said they had success reinstalling IE6 and SP1 so I tried that again and low
and behold it worked this time!
