If this message is duplicated I appoligize. I sent one
this morning but it has not shown up. So here it goes
again....I have been getting error messages
saying "Internet Explorer has encountered problems and
needs to close.....etc...." I send the error report and
sometimes it closes the browser and other times it leaves
it open, but everytime I open the browser this message
appears. It's driving me crazy. Persistance has gotten
me surfing the net but I'm running out of persistance.
Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

There is an easy way to repair Internet Explorer. Click Start,
Accessories, System Tools, System Information. A window will open up.
Click Tools, Internet Explorer Repair Tool. Another window will open.
Choose Repair Internet Explorer and click OK.
This will not work in Windows 95.

David,

When I click Start, Accessories, System Tools, System
Information, a box opens, but under Tools there is no
Internet Explorer Repair Tool. All that is there is Net
Diagnostics, System Restore, File Signature Verification
Utility, DirectX Diagnostic Tool and Dr. Watson. By the
way, I am running XP incase you needed to know. Is there
anything else?

Thanks

I am also receiving those same errors. It starts to get
very irritating. I also have windows xp. Can anyone
help?

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit is with this tool.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

or:

SpyBot-S&D

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.
