IE Error

I've been consistently getting an error in IE over the
last few days. I tried downloading the latest version of
IE... but it was of no assistance.

In the middle of browsing, I'll often get an error which
says 'Internet Explorer has encountered an error and needs
to close... sorry for any inconvenience' ... and I'm
forced to re-start IE then.

This is really starting to annoy me!
The only change I've made to my computer in the last few
days is installing a new version of Winamp. I do not see
that being related to this. No other changes whatsoever
have been made. Why is this happening? Any input would be
appreciated.

Iexplore.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for
